I am calling on all of you candidates for mayor and City Council to publicly denounce the stealing of large roadway signs and yard signs that is taking place, with increasing frequency, on Colo. 34 and from homeowners’ properties. Don Overcash and John Fogle already have filed multiple police reports regarding this reprehensible theft. Why are they being targeted?

I really appreciate the article in the Loveland Reporter-Herald about climate change recently. If we move away from fossil fuels we stop producing more carbon in our atmosphere, but it doesn't remove the existing carbon. The only thing that does that is growing more vegetation, allowing more fields instead of development, and allowing more trees. A mature tree can give off anywhere between 26 and 100 gallons of water per day, based on its size and age. Planting new trees will take decades to do the same thing. Please love your trees.
