The Town of Goderich welcomed the first ship to arrive at the harbour in 2021. The Algoma Intrepid docked at the harbour last Monday (5th) Mayor John Grace says there is a special ceremony that comes with the arrival of the first ship at the harbour.   Grace says the ceremony marks the start of the shipping season in Goderich. He says the awarding of the top hat to the captain of the first ship to arrive at the harbour is a tradition that dates back over 100 years. 90.5 myFM Social
