ENGLAND World Cup winner Nobby Stiles, who sadly passed away last October, scaled the heights in a long career in football, playing sport's most iconic stadia across the globe. But on 27 July 1975 the hugely popular England midfielder added Knowsley Road to that list of celebrated venues.
