With so many worthy fundraisers taking place throughout the county, events could be forgiven for falling short of expectations, but the West Kerry Tractor Run impresses year after year.
The enormously successful West Kerry Tractor Run – Mórchuaird Tarracóra Chorca Dhuibhne – returns to the road this Sunday (November 26), and organisers are hoping for another bumper haul to add to the €80,000 or so the event has raised for good causes since its inception in 2018.
With significant plans to expand palliative-care services in the county, the news that the University Hospital Kerry (UHK) Palliative Care Unit is to share the funds raised from the 2023 edition of the hugely successful West Kerry Tractor Run is a major boost for all concerned at the facility.
