The water slide from which a 5-year-old boy fell 15-20 feet on the Fourth of July at Lake Winnepesaukah has reopened, the park's owners said Thursday.

Witnesses at the scene described the horrifying incident as they saw the boy "fly out" of the green and yellow water slide and recalled hearing park employees blow whistles, presumably as part of a safety protocol.
