Reminisce: Forgotten towns of Allen County By Greg Hoersten - For The Lima News Watt Town or Solar city was bounded by Third Street, Greenlawn Avenue, Fourth Street, Metcalf Street and the Lake Erie & Western Railway. Many workers from the Solar Refinery lived there. In 1922, the residences were leveled to make way for an expansion at the Lima Locomotive Works. In June 1882, Jacob D.
