Lombardi wins bid to vaccinate residents at home

NORTH PROVIDENCE – Initially told no in response to his effort to vaccinate the town’s immobile residents in their homes, Mayor Charles Lombardi pushed last week until he got the response he wanted. About 20 people received vaccinations from town personnel at home, following a “very successful” 1,300 vaccinations of older residents at town-run COVID-19 vaccine clinics, said Lombardi. First vaccine clinic seamless, second will have more doses

NORTH PROVIDENCE – The town’s first in a series of vaccine clinics for residents age 75 and older over the weekend was seamless and left everyone “very, very happy and satisfied,” said Mayor Charles Lombardi.
