Yonkers police sickened, semi-conscious after searching man with gun
View Comments YONKERS — Several Yonkers police officers were recovering Saturday morning from possible exposure to unidentified, dangerous drugs while taking a man into custody Friday night. According to a statement released Saturday by Police Commissioner John J. Mueller, the officers were responding to reports of an agitated man arguing with himself and threatening to shoot everyone on sight. The officers stopped and arrested the unidentified man, who was armed with a loaded, defaced illegal handgun on Ravine Avenue.
