A New Zealand homeowner is being sued for more than $292,000 after a planning error saw him build his new house right on his neighbour's boundary. Deepak Lal had began building his three-bedroom dreamhouse in Papakura in Auckland's north when construction stopped in August 2020 when his contractors alerted him to the issue.
