Hope was born March 23 of last year, the day of the shutdown at Malabar Farm State Park. She offered just that, hope, at a time the world was coming to terms with the COVID-19 pandemic. Hundreds entered naming contest for new calf Staff members decided to hold a naming contest on social media for the new calf, who was discovered by maintenance man Jon Britton. 

TELFORD -  Buddy Day Jr., age 75, of Telford went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2020. He was a native of Washington County, Tn and the son of the late Norvan C. Day Sr. and Artie Mae McElyea Day. Buddy was the owner and operator of Buddy Day Construction for 55 years. He was an active member of Jackson Park Covenant Brethren Church where he served as a deacon and church board member. Buddy loved serving his church.
