Mittera Acquires Selected Assets of Michigan-based Commercial Print Company, Rogers Printing Inc.

The AngstromGroup, a Cleveland-based provider of commercial printing, direct mail, mailing and fulfillment, and creative services, announced it will permanently close its printing facility beginning July 25, with completion expected within 60 days. The closure will impact all 131 full-time workers.

A uniquely configured sheetfed offset press is enabling the printing powerhouse to serve its diverse range of customers and vertical markets. This includes specialty packaging and printing on plastics, and to better cater to the high security and government spaces.

Comprising its 17th printing industry acquisition, Des Moines, Iowa-based Mittera has acquired select business assets of Creel Printing, currently operating in Las Vegas under the ownership of Allan Creel. The 250,000-sq.-ft. sheetfed and web offset Creel production facility in Las Vegas is not being acquired and will be shut down in the coming months, impacting nearly 300 workers.
