Boulder's public Chanukah celebration saw hundreds gather amid cold weather, enjoying traditional food, music, and messages of resilience and hope in challenging global times.
Each year for over 20 years the Boulder Center for Judaism has lit a menorah for the community on the Pearl Street Mall. Each year a member of the community who has worked especially hard for Boulder’s Jews is asked to light that special community menorah and this year it is our pleasure to give that honor to Andy Franklin.
The Boulder JCC is working to create Israel programming that meets the needs of our community, as well as amplifying programs of our national partners that may be of interest.
Chanukah on Pearl, sponsored by the Boulder JCC and the Boulder County Center for Judaism, will take place on the fifth night of Chanukah.
During this time, the Boulder JCC’s focus has been addressing the community’s immediate needs — safety and security, supporting Israeli families, creating opportunities to come together, and providing education about Israel and the war.
