After nearly 25 years behind bars, a New York man has been acquitted of the rape and murder of a Hudson Valley girl.
Putnam County teenager Josette Wright was 12 years old when Andrew Krivak and Anthony DePippo killed her, officials have said. Both men have since been cleared.
Andrew Krivak, who spent 24 years in prison for the crime, was acquitted after jurors determined that he was coerced into a false confession.
