A Fort Dodge man was arrested Monday afternoon after police received reports of a physical altercation on one street and unsubstantiated reports of shots fired on another street.
Josh Kiplinger, 29, is charged with carrying weapons, an aggravated misdemeanor, and fifth-degree criminal mischief, a simple misdemeanor.
The Webster County Telecommunications Center received a report of an assault in the 300 block of First Street Northwest shortly after 4 p.m., with information indicating two men had a physical altercation before one left the area. Later, Fort Dodge Police said they learned both went to the 700 block of Seventh Avenue North, where the argument continued. ....
