Case Western Reserve University Two Case Western Reserve University alumni are pledging $1 million to go toward a new university effort focused on interdisciplinary research. Edward Hemmelgarn and Janice Hammond's gift will be fulfilled over five years. It "will create an endowed fund to support seed grants that benefit faculty and students while also serving as catalysts for additional philanthropic investment," per a release from CWRU.
