Hudson Reporter Funeral services took place Nov. 30 for Carrie Deans, of Jersey City. She passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, of natural causes. Carrie was born May 14, 1949, in Midville, Ga., to Lula Mae Glover and Bea Chandler. She was the oldest of six children. She was raised in Augusta, Ga., before the family relocated to Jersey City when she was a teenager. She was a graduate of Snyder High School, Jersey City, and St Peter’s College, where she received her B.A. in Social Work.
