Judge Krishnakumar was transferred when he was under the scanner for a controversial order which held that a sexual harassment case would not prima facie stand if the victim was wearing a “sexually provocative dress”.
The petitioner was transferred to a labour court in Kollam from Kozhikode sessions court after he controversially ruled in a sexual harassment case in which activist and author Civic Chandran is the accused.
The order was pronounced by the same Kozhikode sessions court which granted the activist bail in another case saying the offence of sexual harassment offence is not applicable when the woman was wearing a "sexually provocative dress".
