Júlia Roca Vera turns food waste into skincare range
Spanish designer Júlia Roca Vera has created a line of cosmetics from fruit that was discarded for purely aesthetic reasons, to encourage people to make use of waste products. Named Lleig, after the Catalan word for ugly, the range includes four products all made using one single piece of fruit that had been discarded by its producer because it didn't comply with the cosmetic quality regulations used by supermarkets.
