According to the experts, the decrease in the number of jobseekers was influenced by a drop in the number of clients applying to the Employment Service (1.2% compared to September) and by the employment provided, with 26.3% more people taking part in active labour market policy measures than the month before.
Lithuania's registered unemployment rate stood at 16.1 percent in early March, down 0.3 percent from early February, the country's Employment Service said on Monday.
