[District Judge recruitment] Rajasthan High Court upholds condition requiring candidates to submit 10 judgments argued by them

The Court noted that by virtue of Rule 36 of the RJS rules 2010 , the candidate applying for the recruitment exam has to furnish particulars of 10 judgments of preceding seven years.

The court ruled that the Centre’s standard operating procedure (SOP) on vaccination did not exclude the migrants from Pakistan.
Amid an uncertainty about their citizenship status, Pakistani Hindu migrants residing in Jodhpur district have started getting COVID-19 vaccination following an intervention of the Rajasthan High Court. However, the migrants who do not possess any of the prescribed identity documents were still not getting the vaccine.
A Division Bench of the High Court ruled that the Centre’s standard operating procedure (SOP) on vaccination did not exclude the migrants from Pakistan. The State government, which is yet to take a final decision on the issue, has sought some time from the court for furnishing details about the steps taken to implement the SOP.

The issue of procurement of all kharif crops for 2020-21 at minimum support prices not being started in Rajasthan has been brought to the High Court, with a farmers’ body alleging that the State government has excluded two important crops, cotton and bajra, from the Price Support Scheme (PSS). A plea was also raised for establishment of permanent procurement centres at village panchayats.
In its public interest writ petition, the Kisan Welfare Society of Pali said the State government had withdrawn cotton and bajra from the ambit of PSS on October 28 despite the Centre having declared minimum support prices for the two crops in its notification issued on June 5 this year.
