Surfer dies at Currumbin Alley on Gold Coast after he was pulled from the water by his son

The 74-year-old man was surfing at Currumbin Alley, on the south end of the Gold Coast, at around 7:30am on Wednesday before falling off his wave ski and failing to resurface.
