Dimapur, May 12 (EMN): The Department of Health & Family, Phek district, conducted a Reproductive & Child Health (RCH) outreach camp at Tehephu village on May 11. Neighbouring villagers from K Khuno and Suthotsu villages also availed health services during the camp, an update stated. The RCH camp is carried out annually with the objective to reduce infant mortality rates (IMR), maternal mortality rates (MMR) and to ensure quality services to pregnant women and children in the district. A total of 86 patients were examined during the health camp including more than 26 children who were treated for various ailments. Five women were given ante- natal check up (ANC) and two women opted to go for permanent and temporary family planning method. The medical team was led by Dr. Khriezotuo Paphino CMO Phek; Dr. Pangertemsu obs & gynaecologist; Dr. K Pewezo Khalo, DPO RCH/UIP; Dr. Limatoshi, epidemiologist; Dr. Chikhopalu, Dr. Chuvilu, RBSK nurse, nurses from sub-centres of Tehephu, ....
