NASA's James Webb Telescope discovers potentialy habitable world over 8 times bigger than Earth
Using NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, astronomers have discovered an Earth-like exoplanet located millions of light years away that could potentially support life. The planet, named K2-18b, is eight times larger than Earth and has the molecule Dimethyl Sulphide (DMS) in its atmosphere, which is typically associated with environments conducive to sustaining life. The presence of methane, carbon dioxide, and water further suggests the potential for life.
