आधी एका दिवसात होत होती हॉलमार्किंग, आता लागताहेत 2 ते 4 दिवस
देशातील २५६ जिल्ह्यांत सोन्याचे दागिने आणि कलाकृतींवर सक्तीची हॉलमार्किंग व्यवस्था लागू होऊन महिना झाला आहे. मात्र, आतापर्यंत ही व्यवस्था सुरळीत पद्धतीने लागू होऊ शकली नाही. बहुतांश शहरांत हॉलमार्किंग सेंटर्स आवश्यकतेपेक्षा कमी पडत आहेत. आधी येथे हॉलमार्किंग करण्यासाठी एक दिवस लागत होता, आता जवळपास तीन ते चार दिवस लागत आहेत. याशिवाय रोज नवा नियम आल्यामुळेही सराफांमध्ये संभ्रम आहे.
महाराष्ट्रातील पारंपरिक सराफा व्यापाऱ्यांना हॉलमार्किंगसाठी अनेक समस्यांचा सामना करावा लागत आहे. “सराफा सुवर्णकार महाराष्ट्र महासंघाने’ हॉलमार्किंगमधील ८३ त्रुटी सांगणारे निवेदन शासनाला पाठवले आहे. औरंगाबादमध्ये हॉलमार्किंगचे तुलसी आणि वर्मा ज्वेलर्स हे केवळ २ सेंटर असून ते अपुरे पडत आहेत. सुवर्ण नगरी नावाने प्रसिद्ध जळगावमध्ये २५० हून जास्त ज्वेलर्स आहेत. तिथे कमीत कमी सहा सेंटर्सची गरज आहे. मात्र, येथे सध्या केवळ ३ हॉलमार्किंग सेंटर आहेत. गुजरातमध्ये २३ हॉलमार्किंग सेंटर्स आहेत. येथे ७५-८० सेंटर्सची आवश्यकता आहे.
येथील ज्वेलर्सना हॉलमार्क करण्यात २ ते ३ दिवसांचा वेळ लागते.जूनमध्ये निर्बंध शिथिल केल्याने आर्थिक हालचालींना वेग आला आहे. यामुळे सोन्याच्या दागिन्याच्या मागणीने वेग पकडला आहे. गुजरातमध्ये हॉलमार्किंग सेंटरची संख्या वाढणे आवश्यक आहे.जयपूर सराफा ट्रेडर्स समितीचे अध्यक्ष कैलाश मित्तल यांच्यानुसार, नगासाठी हॉलमार्क युनिट आयडेंटिफिकेशन (एचयूआयडी) नंबर लागू केला आहे. याबाबत सराफांमध्ये संभ्रमाची स्थिती आहे.

कमीत कमी ४० वस्तू आल्यावरच हॉलमार्क केले जावे, असे निर्देश आहेत. हे निर्देश छोटे-ज्वेलर्सना नाही तर कॉर्पाेरेटना बळ देणारे आहेत. - नवनीत अग्रवाल, सचिव, भोपाळ
एकत्रित हॉलमार्क असावा

कामाचा ताण वाढला: हॉलमार्किंगमध्ये येताहेत अशा अडचणी
छोट्या-मध्यम ज्वेलर्सना संगणकप्रणाली व तज्ज्ञ डेडिकेटेड स्टाफ ठेवावा लागेल, याचा खर्च वाढेल.
हॉलमार्कसाठी ज्वेलरी पाठवण्याची प्रणाली ऑनलाइन झाली. लहान आणि मध्यम ज्वेलर्स यामध्ये निपुण नाहीत.
लहान दागिन्यांची संख्या जास्त असल्याने हॉलमार्किंग सेंटर्सना त्यांची माहिती ठेवण्यात अडचण होत आहे.
