July 9, 2021 SUKKUR: In a rare incident of power-show, a feudal lord imposed a fine of Rs 0.8 million on a policeman in Thulh.During an encounter between police and criminals in 2018 in the limits of Thulh of District Jacobabad, an alleged criminal Kali Bangllani was killed and policeman Rafiq Soomro was martyred. A Jirga was held on Thursday in Thulh, in which a feudal lord Ghulam Rasool Bangllani levied a fine of Rs0.8 million on Ali Gul Cholyani, who was In-charge of Police Post Joughal of District Jacobabad in 2018. Sources said that the gang members of the deceased criminal had forced In-charge Police Post Jounghal to arrange the Jirga or else they threatened him of exacting revenge of their accomplice.
