Dengue cases rise in Lucknow but no fogging drive yet by LMC
Cases of dengue in Lucknow, India are increasing, but the Municipal Corporation has not yet started fogging and anti-larval drives due to lack of funds. Last year, over 1,050 cases were reported. The Municipal Commissioner has requested funds from the state government, but if not received, the Corporation will have to provide the funds themselves. The Corporation plans to start fogging next month using a new method called cold fogging, which will be more cost-effective and eco-friendly.
