The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday invaded the home of the Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, Kano Division, Justice Ita Mbaba. The property is located on Sheik Yusuf Adam Game street, off Race Cross Road, Nasarawa Government Reservation Area, Kano.
Although EFCC admitted that its operatives visited a property housing Mr Mbaba's residence in Kano, it said the judge was not the target.
The conviction came after his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission following a petition which alleged that he obtained property of the complainant worth N7,677,000 under false pretence.
