Hubballi: As the Union government will table the budget on Feb 1, people of Karnataka are hoping for the announcement of regularizing temporary trains.
The 435 km high-speed rail is expected to reduce travel time between Mysuru and the two Southern state capitals and will have nine stations along the route.
The existing fastest train (12677-78, Bengaluru-Ernakulam-Bengaluru Intercity Express) takes 6 hours and 40 minutes between Bengaluru Cantonment and Coimbatore, according to the railways.
