Local children's author Emer Conlon is one of the Louth ambassadors for Ireland's first ever national reading day and reading campaign, Ireland Reads. Emer, who has penned the very popular Vroom-Town series of books, is backing the campaign which encourages everyone young and old to 'squeeze in a read' to help their mental well-being and to get back into the habit of reading.
