Empty shelves in northern Manitoba First Nation spark renewed call for all-weather roads, emergency shipments

The chief of a remote Manitoba First Nation is calling for the construction of all-weather roads after his community encountered a shortage of essential supplies. He said provincial and federal governments should also prepare to enact emergency protocols in case winter roads remain closed and other goods can’t be shipped.
