Millbrook runs away from New Bern in first round, 89-43

Raleigh, N.C. Millbrook s boys basketball team ran past New Bern in the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A state playoffs on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats had four players in double-figures as they beat New Bern 89-43 to advance to Thursday s second round.
Millbrook jumped out to a big 25-8 lead in the first quarter, then built a 52-20 lead by halftime.
Silas Demary, Jr., scored 19 points in the first half to lead Millbrook. Redford Dunton added 18 points for the Wildcats. ....
