‘Knowledge society and a blueprint for future Kerala’ will be the theme
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the a ‘Youth Summit on Future Kerala’, a two-day conclave being organised by the AKG Study and Research Centre, on Sunday.
The event being conducted on the theme ‘Knowledge society and a blueprint for future Kerala’ will feature presentations by young scholars, students, other academic practitioners, IT professionals, young entrepreneurs, and others from arts, literature, culture, and sports.
According to reception committee chairman and State Planning Board member K.N. Harilal, general convener V. Sivadasan and convener Shafeeque Vadakkan, plenary sessions on education, health, labour force, development, and culture will also be held as part of the summit. ....

Kerala took a major step forward in its progress towards a knowledge society with the inauguration of the country s first Digital University, based in Technocity at Mangalapuram near here on Saturday.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan presided over the function, where Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, who is also the Chancellor of the Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (KUDSIT), unveiled the varsity plaque. ....

Governor says the State will soon become a digital powerhouse
Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (commonly referred to as Digital University Kerala), the 15th university in the State, formally came into being at Technocity in Mangalapuram on the outskirts of the capital on Saturday.
Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, who inaugurated the university through videoconferencing, said the university would provide impetus to the State’s dream of becoming the digital powerhouse of India as well as a global hub of digital activity. ....

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala took a major step forward in its progress towards a knowledge society with the inauguration of the country s first Digital University, based in Technocity at Mangalapuram near here on Saturday.
Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan presided over the function, where Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, who is also the Chancellor of the Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology(KUDSIT), unveiled the varsity plaque.
Both the governor and the chief minister addressed the function through video conferencing.
In his inaugural address, Khan said the launch of the Digital University is part of the state s resolve to embrace new technologies and desire to use them for bringing positive changes in the life of people and become a global hub for higher learning and technology. ....
