Clearfield woman allegedly lied on firearm application
Sheila Kent, 48, of 120 Clark St., Clearfield, allegedly lied on an application to purchase a firearm from National Sport Goods back in June of 2020, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police.
Kent allegedly checked “no” in response to the question, “Have you ever been convicted in any court for a felony, or other crime, for which the judge could imprison you for more than one year, even if you received a shorter sentence including probation?” said Brian Firetti, a Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police officer.
According to Firetti, Kent previously pled guilty to DUI twice in 2006, and was placed on probation for two years.

Woman sent summons on harassment charges
Sara Greenaway, 23, of 2432 Vista Road, allegedly became irate and threw objects after two victims questioned her about substance abuse, according to state police.
Greenaway allegedly took one of the victim’s phone halfway through the 911 call, and later chased that victim around her house, Trooper Kevin Bencsics said.
Greenaway was sent a summons to appear before District Judge Gary Whiteman on a singular charge of harassment.

Logan Keiser, 26, of Milton, was allegedly caught trying to transport heroin from Williamsport to Milton to resell in the parking lot of the Montoursville Walmart July 25, 2019.

McIntyre Township man allegedly drove tractor after drinking
Allen Jean, 22, of 777 Langdon Road, had a BAC of 0.10% when he was driving a new Kubota Tractor LA340 southbound on Route 14 north of Langdon Road, according to Trooper Andrew Dalkiewicz.
“Jean advised that he had some beers with his buddies and decided to take the new tractor for a ride,” Dalkiewicz wrote in an affidavit.
Jean is charged with DUI and careless driving, and was sent a summons to appear at the Old Lycoming Township Police Department.
Man arrested for allegedly assaulting woman
Kalvin Ali Sampson, 29, of 1715 Blaine St., Apartment 2, allegedly assaulted and harassed a Loyalsock woman the afternoon of Dec. 19, state police said. Sampson allegedly put his hand around the woman’s neck, pushed her onto the couch and struck her with a straw broom twice, according to Trooper Robert Jacobs. Sampson posted the $25,000 bail set by Judge William Solomon. He is scheduled to appear before Judge Gary Whiteman Dec. 28 for a preliminary hearing.
