kstephens@altoonamirror.com HOLLIDAYSBURG A Claysburg man will be on probation for 14 years in exchange for guilty pleas to criminal charges filed in August 2018 when he was accused of sexually assaulting an ex-girlfriend in Greenfield Township. Kevin R. Weyandt, 48, recently entered guilty pleas in Blair County Court to charges of simple assault, strangulation, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, unlawful restraint and criminal trespassing, all graded as misdemeanors. Felony charges of rape, burglary, kidnapping, strangulation and sexual assault were among the charges dismissed. Based on the negotiated plea, Weyandt’s 14-year probationary period has started. It was imposed to follow county prison incarceration of five months and five days to a maximum of one year. Information rendered in Blair County Court indicated that Weyandt has completed his incarceration. ....
