Unsung heroes rewarded in the County Durham Together Awards
UNSUNG heroes from across the region have had their good deeds rewarded thanks to the County Durham Together Awards. The Northern Echo and Durham County Council teamed up to launch the new awards scheme to recognise those who have gone above and beyond during the coronavirus pandemic. Last night, 12 winners received awards in categories ranging from the Key Worker of the Year Award, the Unsung Hero Award and Carer of the Year.
