Garlic festival held in Manipur - Eastern Mirror
IMPHAL: The 10th edition of district level Shuri Kaso Phanit-Garlic festival was held under the aegis of Talui Kharngarum SHG (Self Help Group) Federation at Talui village in Manipur’s Ukhrul district on Thursday. District horticulture and soil conservation officer Kh Manorama and programme coordinator Dr. Solei Luiram of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ukhrul and Headman S Akhui of Talui village were attended as chief guest, guest of honour and special guest during the formal inauguration of the garlic festival.
