Tree plantation marks 73rd Van Mahotsav celebrations in Senapati
Dimapur, July 3 (EMN): A tree plantation drive was organised by Liyai range, Senapati Forest Division to celebrate 73rd Van Mahotsav 2022 at Dzüduri Eco-Tourism Park and Purul village in Senapati district, Manipur. The drive was held in line with the Manipur government’s vision of planting 75 lakh saplings by August 2022 to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an update informed. More than 7000 saplings of Cassia, Gulmohar, Ceylon Ironwood, Walnut, Oak, Alder, and Camphor etc. were planted by the participants.
