The updates this time have been significant, so we reckon certain variants will sell at a premium
The 2021 Sonet will likely be introduced on April 27 at Kia’s ‘Big Event’. Vehicles sporting the revised logo have already started reaching dealerships. However, the latest pictures reveal that updates are not only limited to the new monogram; a few top-spec features have now made their way lower down the order.
HTX Variant To Come With Automatic Transmissions
The HTX will replace the Sonet s HTK+ as the base automatic variant. Earlier limited to the iMT (with turbo-petrol) and manual (with diesel) transmissions, the Sonet HTX will now come paired with a DCT and automatic as well. The former can be hand with the turbo-petrol motor, while the latter is mated to the diesel unit. Both the variants will also come with drive and traction modes, an electronic stability control-based feature that was earlier limited to the top-spec GTX+.
