Three police officers and two Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) officers were on Monday seriously injured after their patrol car that was pursuing the Presidential candidate overturned. This prompted the opposition candidate to stop and help evacuate the security members that were chasing him. “Sad news one of the patrols that was chasing Presidential Candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat ( POA) got an accident injuring three police officers and two UPDF officers and our team had to help in evacuating the Victims,” the FDC said via its official social media accounts. ....
