FIREFIGHTERS used cutting equipment to rescue two casualties from their vehicles following a road traffic collision (RTC) involving two vehicles on the Killadeas Road this morning (March 8). Three Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) appliances – two from Enniskillen Fire Station, and one from Irvinestown Fire Station – attended the incident following a call at 7.56am this morning. Emergency services were in attendance, including the police, ambulance and fire service. A Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "One appliance each from Enniskillen, Irvinestown, Lisnaskea and Omagh Fire Stations attended the incident. "Firefighters were called to a two-vehicle collision on Killadeas Road involving two male casualties. "One casualty was rescued from his vehicle using cutting equipment. Both casualties were transferred to the care of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and taken to hospital. The incident was dealt with by 3.52pm." The road was ...
