Nearly 750 students will be transitioned into this building when the Dawson and St. Mary’s Magnet Academy combine. Because there is a host of families and event community members, a new school naming committee invites those affected to share a name they think will be the perfect fit for the new school.

“This is our favorite time of the year because from Pre-k to the 12th grade, this is what they’re working towards, this is their journey,” says Director of Communications for the school district, Kimberly Wright, “Now, they’re embarking on a new journey and we’re very excited about that.”
June 15 is the deadline to submit answers to the online survey.
