Application Area:Routine analysis "We use Kinetex 5 micron C18 columns in a synthetic lab for routine reaction monitoring. Most of the time it's a simple dip-dilute-and-shoot sample prep with no specific clean-up. The column survived well and gave excellent results, both in peak shape and sharpness. Some of our samples have very polar and chelating bisphosphonate groups, and the column handled them well. The 5 micron columns give 70~80% of the resolution power of what 2.7 micron columns offer, with significantly lower back pressure. They are well suited for a simple drop-in upgrade for older ...
