CU will be the three seed in next week's Pac-12 tournament and will next play on Thursday, March 11. McKinley Wright scored 24 points in his final home game in a Buffs uniform. INDIANAPOLIS — The honors continued to roll in for Colorado freshman  Frida Formann on Tuesday. She added to her collection with the announcement of the U.S. Basketball Writers Association's Tamika Catchings Women's Freshman of the Week, a day after being named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week. It is the first time a Colorado women's basketball player has earned the honor. McKinley Wright IV earned a National Freshman of the Week award during his rookie season in 2017-18.
