Jewar s economy booms with the new airport, driving land deals and rentals. Local entrepreneurs like Virendra Kumar and Himanchal Sharma seize business opportunities.
The district administration has issued notices to 200 farmers in five Jewar villages for illegal structures built on airport land to claim more payout. The structures were erected without permissions and the administration has warned about their demolition. The land acquisition process for the second phase of the Noida International Airport project is underway, and further construction, sale, or purchase is not allowed. The farmers have already received compensation for their land, but some have done fresh constructions to claim additional compensation.
