A delegation of military officers of the SPLM-IO Kit-Gwang faction has arrived in South Sudan's capital of Juba today to follow up on the implementation of the Khartoum Peace Agreement signed last month.
First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar who also doubles as the chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the SPLM/SPLA-IO on Monday sent a flash military message to all his units informing them that the breakaway SPLA-IO Kit Gwang faction led by Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual had effectively joined the SPLM in Government and the SSPDF.

The breakaway faction of the SPLA-IO allied to General Simon Gatwech Dual, also known as the Kit Gwang faction, started negotiations with a delegation from the South Sudan government in the Sudanese capital Khartoum on Tuesday.
