DEADLINE day is fast approaching to comment on a controversial planning application of more than 200 homes in Tiptree. Kler Group Limited wants permission from Colchester Council to build 221 properties on agricultural land off Brook Meadows, near Maldon Road, in the village. The consultation date is set to end on February 5. Since the plans were first revealed, dozens of objections have been submitted.
