OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. (WAFF) - Huntsville Utilities Electric Operations have closed Old Big Cove Road between the entrances to the Knotty Walls Road loop to perform circuit upgrades.
Road work is expected to last until 2:00 p.m., according to HU.
Motorists traveling through the area will have to use the Knotty Walls Road loop as a detour, unless they live in the closed section of road.
HU said a map of the impacted area can be found on their social media pages.
