<p>Researchers from Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), in collaboration with researchers at University of Tokyo, Nagoya University, and Nagoya City University, have discovered that damage to the cell membrane promotes cellular senescence, or cell aging. The article was published online on 22 February 2024 in <em>Nature Aging</em>, and the article will be featured on the cover of the March issue.</p>
