The two terrorists are Danish Ahmad Bhat alias Kokab Duree, resident of Jablipora Bijbehara, and Basharat Nabi Lone, resident of Fatehpora Anantnag.
As many as two terrorists affiliated with the proscribed terror outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) were killed in an encounter that broke out in the Poshkreeri area of Anantnag, said the officials on Tuesday.
He added the search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, who retaliated.
