Dec 12, Colombo: With the identification of 25 COVID-19 infected persons, the Health Department has taken steps to impose travel restrictions on 7 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Galle District. Accordingly, travel restrictions have been imposed on Miliduwa, Kongaha, Thalapitiya, Dangedara East, Deddugoda North, Deddugoda South and Makuluwa Grama Niladhari Divisions. No one residing in these areas can leave home for any non-essential reason until further notice. All schools in the Galle Education Division will be closed for another week.
